White & Teal Bowrider Seat Reupholstery

This bowrider had good bones but tired seats: cracked white vinyl and a faded accent that had lost its pop. The owner wanted to keep the sporty white look but bring back some color.

We recovered the bow lounges and helm seats in bright white with a crisp teal accent stripe, rebuilding the foam so the seats feel new underneath the fresh look.

An accent color is a small detail that changes the whole feel of a boat. The key is choosing a fade-resistant vinyl for the accent, because a stripe that goes chalky in a season ruins the effect.

The challenge

Recovering a bowrider in white with a sharp teal accent that stays vivid under constant UV, while rebuilding comfort in the bow and helm seats.

What we did

We rebuilt the foam, then recovered the seating in UV-resistant white marine vinyl with a fade-resistant teal accent, sewn with UV-stable thread and clean, sealed seams.

The result

A bright, sporty bowrider with an accent that pops, built to hold its color through Florida summers.

Adding an accent color that lasts

A two-tone or accent stripe is an easy way to personalize a boat. To keep it sharp:

• Use marine-grade vinyl for the accent too, not just the main color, so both fade at the same slow rate.
• High-contrast accents like teal on white look great but show fade fastest, so material quality matters most there.
• Keep accent panels shaded with a cover or top when the boat sits, to slow UV fade.
• A little accent goes a long way, a single stripe reads cleaner than color everywhere.
