Can you replace the foam and keep my covers?+
If the vinyl is still in good shape, sometimes. But most seats with waterlogged foam also have cracked vinyl, so recovering at the same time is usually the lasting fix.
Will new foam fix the musty smell?+
Usually yes. The smell comes from water trapped in old foam. Removing it and rebuilding with quick-dry foam takes away the source.
