White Pontoon Reupholstery, Teak-Look Deck

Paired with a teak-look deck, all-white seating gives a pontoon a crisp, modern, yacht-like feel. This one had faded to a dull, uneven white with a few cracked seams.

We reupholstered the loungers, benches and helm seat in bright white marine vinyl, bringing back the clean contrast against the deck.

White on a pontoon lives in full sun with no shade, so the vinyl has to be genuinely UV-stable and easy to wipe, or it yellows and stains within a season.

The challenge

Keeping bright white crisp and even across a full pontoon that sits in unbroken sun, with no hardtop to shade it.

What we did

We recovered the entire layout in UV- and mildew-resistant white marine vinyl over quick-dry foam, with UV-stable thread and reinforced seams built for constant exposure.

The result

A clean, modern pontoon with bright white seating and a sharp deck, ready for open-water sun.

White looks incredible on a pontoon, but it lives a hard life. Keep it looking right:

• Rinse with fresh water after every outing, before sunscreen and dock grime set in.
• Add a fitted cover for storage, shade is the single best defense against yellowing.
• Clean with a marine vinyl cleaner, not household bleach that breaks down the topcoat.
• Address stains the day they happen, fresh marks lift far more easily than old ones.
