Cognac Pontoon Boat Reupholstery

This pontoon came in tired and faded and left as the boldest boat on the water. We reupholstered the entire interior, wrap-around loungers, benches, the helm seat and the captain's chair, in rich cognac marine vinyl.

Pontoon boats are all open seating, so every panel bakes in the Southwest Florida sun. A full pontoon reupholstery like this one is the fastest way to make a well-loved boat feel brand new without buying a new boat.

The challenge

Recovering a complete pontoon layout in one bold color so every piece matches perfectly, while building it tough enough for constant sun on the water around Venice and North Port.

What we did

We stripped every cushion to the board, replaced flattened and waterlogged foam with quick-dry marine foam, and recovered the whole set in UV- and mildew-resistant cognac marine vinyl with UV-stable thread, so the color and seams last.

The result

A showpiece pontoon interior that turns heads at the sandbar and shrugs off the Gulf sun season after season.
