RV Lounge & Recliner Reupholstery

The lounge furniture in a motorhome takes daily use plus sun through big windows, so it wears faster than furniture at home. This coach's loveseat and recliner had flattened and faded.

We reupholstered the loveseat and recliner in a durable, easy-care material, keeping the recliner mechanism working smoothly and rebuilding the foam for real comfort.

What we did

We replaced the foam, recovered the loveseat and recliner in durable, easy-care upholstery, and kept the reclining mechanism smooth, with reinforced seams in the high-wear spots.

The result

A comfortable, refreshed lounge area that makes the whole coach feel cared-for and ready for the next season.

Refreshing RV furniture

Before you redo a coach interior, a few things worth knowing:

• Sun through the windshield and side windows is the main culprit, so lean toward UV-aware, fade-resistant materials.
• Keep recliner and sofa-bed mechanisms in mind, they need to keep working after a recover.
• Doing the seating and the dinette together keeps the whole interior looking coordinated.
• Easy-care fabrics and vinyls matter more in an RV, where cleaning options on the road are limited.
